cold and wet in africa

this country is freezing! and then two minutes later the sun will come out and it's a million degrees.

things here are great! we're working hard; just finished up lunch after helping out with little kids at a small school. it was really hard to see the squallor surrounding the school. and the classrooms were 8' by 8' tin shacks with 16-24 kids in each tin shack. their is such a desire to learn here, but it is stunted by a lack of funding.

our hosts are amazing people. they all play for world hope football club and are professional athletes. after practice each day they help work on the field and get it ready for matches. then they spend the afternoon coaching kids in their leagues and telling them about jesus. it's incredible to walk through the slums with them; they are celebrities among the people!
